He is the boxer that got me into the sport to begin with. He is brilliant to watch.
Do you like Amir Khan?

Khan, Pre-Prescott was a more fearless fighter and would challenge his opponent. Post-Prescott, he's revamped his fighting style and does more running\avoiding {take your preference} i.e.. Throw a combination and get out of the way to the point where he's almost in fear of getting clocked again.
Now, I admit, fear of getting KO'ed is common, but Khan knows another KO would ruin his plans and he is very fearful of that and it shows.
I don't think he's ready for stern A-level competition yet. Throwing combination's and racing away isn't going to work with an opponent that knows how to cut-off the ring and touch that body.
If Khan continues to deliver with better and better competition, then I think he will gain more fans. But talking a lot, {ala Haye} while fighting soft-targets isn't going to gain him any fans, just bandwagon-hoppers.
Khan = UNPROVEN STILL

He's a good fighter and on the rise. I find his personality very annoying, but he's like THE most made man in boxing relative to his actual accomplishments so I guess its hard to behave any other way. I wonder how he did it. Andre Ward is practically the same in terms of that amateur background, I bet he's making good money, but not doing it like Khan is.Comment

I like the kid, he has good speed & power and has good potential. And he's a fighter in the sense that he was able to overcome a terrible KO once upon a time. Sometimes he gets a tad too ****y but that's maybe because he's still young.Comment

Yes. He is a tremendous talent and very smart boxer, being trained by the best out there in Freddie Roach. He's only getting better and fighting the best comp he can. If you dont like all that you at least have to respect it.Comment

Hes comstantly saying how hes a world class athlete compared to all these reg guys. It gets annoying after awhile. I think hes overrated.Comment

I can see how one wouldn't like him based on his demeanor, when you reflect it against his accomplishments, I can't say it's entirely warranted, but he is fighting, and he is entertaining, and there is time for him to showcase his skills, against fighters we think would present better challenges. I like him. I'll like him more when he fights Ortiz, Berto, maybe a Maidana rematch (all winnable fights btw), actually gets in the ring with Mayweather and doesn't just talk about it (or it could appear like he's waiting for the "right time," Mayweather is like 10 years his elder). But there isn't much else not to like, he seems like an alright guy too. And when he does move up, hopefully we get to see him in some good matches

I think he is a bit overrated right now. He has not really beat many good fighters yet and barely got passed Maidana yet he calls out the elite? I just don't think he belongs in the elite category yet. He needs a few more fights against B+ level fighters to see how good he really is. He is not proven.Comment
