    Pirog will remain as irrelevant as he was before Danny Jacobs, as he is now, with every fight in Russia. He had a chance to "progress his career" - to borrow his words - and capitalize on his new found stardom in the US, but instead chose to pull a Felix Sturm and go fight at home for money.

    The awful thing, is that Pirog and Sturm are no different than a lot of other local champs that refuse to fight the best outside of their home turf and for once put boxing glory in front of large gates. A shame, but, its the boxing world we live in these days.
    That appears to be the case.

    Funny that only you and I seemed to notice.
