I think Miguel has a better chance this time around with a real corner, but I think Pac is just too good. And plus, I wouldn't be interested in this fight, there would be no reason to make it.

I really do respect everyone's opinion but did you guys actually watch the fight against Margarito this weekend? Please stop being fans for a second and be real. Cotto won against Margarito who isn't even the same anymore by using movement because he still can't take punches like he use to and by holding on when Margarito got too close. Seriously folks, Cotto is not built as a boxer that throws combos and moves. He's not a pure boxer but he was able to do it against Margarito because Margarito is slow as hell and is extremely easy to hit. I've watched the 1st fight between Cotto and Margarito many times and its almost the exact same thing. In the first fight, Cotto boxed the hell out of Margarito like he did this past weekend but the only difference is this time he got the hell out of there when Margarito came too close or he held on for dear life. He still wasn't able to hurt Margarito at all while it was obvious he still can't take Margarito's punches. I mean, i like Cotto and everyone knows he has more skills than Margarito but if Pac didn't beat the **** out of Margarito and mess up his eye then Margarito's eye wouldn't have been that bad that night.

Unless you are obsessed with Pacquiao, like Marquez, you can't beat him Miguel.

You'd literally have to dream about fighting Pac every night for several years to give him the same amount of trouble Marquez did.

Cotto might be able to win if he can somehow learn how to counter punch like JMM but until then, he doesn't have a chance.

The plodding Margarito was gaining ground until the stoppage. Cotto won because of the Margarito's swollen eye. Margarito might have won if the fight has to be continued till the 12th. I would say, Pacquiao-Cotto II will have the same result as the first one.

Cotto currently has a pretty decent corner. He has always been able to correct the mistakes that contributed to his past defeats. In rematches he has always found the way to victory. Back in 2004 Cotto bet Kelson Pinto when they were both undefeated (Kelson is tall like Margarito and had previously bet him in the amateurs)... With his new trainer Cotto's stamina has and will continue to improve. At this point Cotto feels very confident he can beat Pacquiao and I agree he has a good shot at it. The fight would definitely generate good $$$$$ revenew. Nevertheless one foreseeable problem with Pac and his team would most probably be to "again" demand a B.S. catchweight which would equal to "again" having some advantage over Cotto.

Not many can counter like Marquez but Cotto is a good counter puncher .. The mistakes that everyone but Marquez seem to always do is that they always try to go after him . If Cotto fights PAC like he did margs actually he can beat him , he is a better boxer than manny no doubt

I don't wanna talk crap about Cotto because i respect what he has done and how good he is but Margarito isn't Pac. Are some of you guys serious about Cotto beating Manny because he looked good against Margarito? It's Margarito. He's slow as **** and easy to hit. Margarito is a tough guy but skill wise, he completely sucks compared to Manny.
