Call me a crazy, over hyped Rican but I think at like 152 pounds, Cotto could maybe beat him. If he loses then **** it. Props to the guy for wanting to avenge his lost. Can't be mad at him for that. Pac-May is the #1 option though and needs to happen. If not, I'd go for a part 2. Cotto will need to come correct though this time.

Cotto would be a problem at a weight he feels comfortable at. 145 was a big mistake and he paid for it but we all know he excepted that weight do to payday.

Canelo would also fkk Jotto up pretty good, look what Canelo did to Cintron, who IMO hits a lot harder than Jotto.. guess most people who know boxing would agree that JR. an Canelo have great chins, so i seriously doubt Jotto can ever hurt either. All future fights for Jotto will be bad for hmi unless he fights someone like Mayorga again...Even Jose Cotto had Canelo hurt. When Cotto hurts him he will finish him.

I think Pacquiao vs Cotto II would be a good fight, I don't know why people don't care to see it. He is more of a challenge than some of the other names thrown around (Rios, Maidana, Bradley). That being said I can understand Pacquiao turning the fight down, he already has his name on his resume and he can make money elsewhere.
I personally enjoyed the first fight and wouldn't mind seeing the two of them go at it again even if the result is predictable.
That being said I would give Cotto a greater chance of winning the second time around, he tried bullying Pacquiao, a big mistake. He should have boxed him on the outside.

common-sense 101

The answer is........... because it does make a difference!! Huge difference!!!!
And don't give me that "And at that time Pacquiao just move up in weight to fight Cotto" complete BS because prior to that he had no problem fighting DLH at the full 147!
Truth was they needed an advantage!
You used common-sense.
You should be deducted a point
Good post man

Cotto got some mad balls to challenge Pacquiao again but if the man wants to avenge both of his loses, why cant he? Maybe he saw alot of his mistakes and thinks with a few adjustments and more footwork & his new team he can make it happen. Lets remember, more than half the posters here were saying Marquez had no chance (including myself) against Pacquiao at 144 yet were all proven wrong. Its obvious Cotto cant stand and trade with the man but I'm sure with more movement (which he is capable of) he can get better shots in and have a better chance than last time.
