Look a Brandon Rios the other day, it was only a pound he had left to lose but he looked dead on the scales trying to get to that weight. When you are comfortable at 147 you can train regularly and make weight in a comfortable fashion, when that limit is brought down a further 2lbs everything becomes stricter and you're having to do more to get there which takes a toll.
lol so can't give Pacquiao credit for moving up in weight from 140 to 145lbs at that time last 2009? That why your excuses is weight drain how about I say Pacquiao is weight fat when he fought Cotto.

It's not an excuse as to why he lost, it was simply another issue he had.

The reason he lost is simple; he went in with the wrong game-plan and tried to trade with Manny, Manny's speed was too much for him in that fight and the better man won. That doesn't mean he can't switch things around in a rematch though with a switch in tactics.

Cotto vs JMM first, then winner gets Pacquiao.

Well then I have to ask you a question. If it was only 2lbs as you are insisting, then why was Freddie Roach so adamant about making the fight at 145lbs. After all if it was only two pounds and it was for the WW title why not make the fight without the catch weight?

The answer is........... because it does make a difference!! Huge difference!!!!

And don't give me that "And at that time Pacquiao just move up in weight to fight Cotto" complete BS because prior to that he had no problem fighting DLH at the full 147!
Truth was they needed an advantage!

Fact: do you know the fact that Pacquiao in 2008 he weight 129 lbs when he fought Marquez! So I can say it to that Pacquiao was weight drain when he beat Marquez! And weight drain when he beat David Diaz at lightweight.

The weight drain excuses is lame! And in 2009 he fought Mr. Cotto at welterweight. My point is Pacquiao alreay gave them the advantage because they are bigger! And they have 1 day to rehydrate. When Cotto fought Pacquio. Cotto's weight was around 158lbs at fightnight.

We can go back and forth. That excuses is still lame...

No he started trading when he couldn't keep up with pac's pace.. He was successful in the early rounds. When ur opponent goes to the ropes on purpose and is telling u to hit him that's when u know u don't stand no chance!

someone put that youtube video up that show's the difference from jmm vs pac and cotto vs pac, if cotto sees what he did wrong on that vid he might have a chance, but other than that cotto is meant for pac
