    About Julio Cesar Chavez Jr/Freddie Roach/Canelo Alvarez/Miguel Cotto/Bob Arum

Correct me if i'm wrong; but wasn't there word going around that Canelo and Chavez Jr. would be contested at a catchweight, but Freddie stepped in and said he wouldnt allow his fighter to drain himself for that? Yet right after the Cotto/Marg fight, Bob Arum comes out saying he wants Chavez and Cotto to fight at a CATCHWEIGHT? So catchweight with Canelo (a Golden Boy fighter) is a no, but a catchweight with Cotto (a TOP RANK fighter) is reasonable: you know damn well Bob Arum is tampering with all parties involved in this; he wants to keep this inhouse, tells Chavez Jr. and Freddie Roach to refuse a catchweight bout with Canelo with the draining excuse, with the incentive of making more money by taking a catchweight fight with Cotto instead; greed at its finest

It's more obvious than ever Top Rank wants to keep fights in house. It's not even debatable anymore. So the excuses aren't even worth paying attention to.

obviously bob wants things in-house when possible, but with that said Chavez jr. certainly couldn't make a 156 pound catchweight which is what Canelo was asking for which is completely unreasonable. 158 at best and even that is a stretch for chavez tbh.

          Yes you are wrong...

Chavez people said they want the fight with Canelo at 158lbs, Chavez barely makes 160,

After the KO that Chavez put on Manfredo, Oscar De La Hoya said that if they wanted the fight with Canelo, Chavez will have to come down to 156lbs

Chavez cannot make that weight, he will have make the same that Brandon Rios did, starving for 5 days, and even then, he will not be able to make the weight

The fight with Cotto will be at 158 or 159

No, you're wrong. Read what he wrote again. Freddie Roach said he doesn't want Canelo to fight Chavez at ANY catchweight, that he should fight Chavez at the full division limit of 160.

"I say f**k Alvarez. If he wants to fight for the middleweight title - the weight is 160. I don't like catch-weight fights, even though I've been involved in them before with my fighters, but I'm a purist at heart and I love boxing and I don't think they should have them. That's my opinion," Roach said.

                No you are wrong

Oscar first said they wanted 156, so Freddie with that response just said to Oscar A Big **** You!!

Arum already gave GBP the option of a fight at 158, but Oscar after Chavez KO Manfredo was to chicken to try it and wanted 156 instead

So Freddie can say what ever he wants, they didn't want the 158 fight, good...

Now if they want Chavez they will have to make it at 160.

Chavez has better bussiness now with Cotto.

It will make huge ratings here in Mexico, THE REVENGE OF MARGARITO, Chavez Jr. vs Cotto
