"Damn FOBS started calling D-Sauce a mutha****in traitor after he said Poochiao lost to Marquez, now he's on some kiss ass **** to try and get his lil group turd readers back. Nobody with common sense takes any of you anti Floyd writers serious anymore, because the one spot you all think you'll land one day with the Ring has been gobbled up by Fischer already. D-Sauce stop whoring yourself out for Poochiao, and keep building up the up and coming fighters out the PI, at least that will restore your creditability as a writer."

someone actually broke down how much each could get in a traditional PPV method and essentially showed us how there isn't enough money to meet the demands both would want for fighting each other

say both want 50 million each

      okay

      say 70 a pop at a record 2.5 million buys that's 175 million

now they told me standard for a satellite and cable companies is to take 57% of that revenue or 99.75 million

that leaves 43% or 75.25 million

now say that this fight breaks all records in terms of gate which is 19 million for DLH Mayweather. Let's say 30 million even though I think that would be too high

      105.25 million

now take into account promoter cuts, undercard, PR etc and there is no way both guys can feasibly get 50 million each
You're only taking the money made up front into account. Obviously the fight would continue to generate revenue for years and years after fight-night. That's the reason that you have investors trying to swoop in and buy the rights to the fight. Doesn't common sense tell you that? If you have investors willing to come in and gurantee each fighter $75 million or whatever, then they're obviously convinced that they will make that and more on the back end. Mayweather and his people know this, and so does Arum.

All the arguments and accusations over the past few years have squandered my interest in this fight. I don't think I care anymore about what anybody has to say about this fight. There is so much hate on each fighter and the typical responses have repeated themselves endlessly on this and other forums. Its the same old bull**** over and over again. There use to be a time when I would kill to see this fight. It really has crushed my spirit. At the end of the day all I want to see is a good, entertaining fight. Not one argument in this whole Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao machine over the past few years is going to matter to me at the end of the day. I have been a Pacquiao fan for a long time, and although I wasn't the biggest Mayweather fan, I have grown to appreciate him as well. It really doesn't matter to me who wins anymore. I'm almost sick of hearing about it.

Truth right there. *****s and fronters owned again.....

Floyd has been making this fight very difficult. I don't see any of his camp negotiating or visiting Top Rank or Pacteam. May 5 (Cinco de Mayo) fight will be a Mexican opponent NOT the Manny Pacquiao we are expecting.

Floyd:"I've signed the contract I'm waiting for Pacquiao to sign"
*****s: Oh hell yeah, Pac sign it up you ducker"

Pacquiao:"It's almost 80% final, am just waiting for Floyd"
*****s: "What a liar, they're still in negotiations, how can Pac say it's almost done, Pac is a duck"

OMG, Idiots with no brain or education.....LOL@!@!

okay I'll bite how do they generate revenue for years and years? enough to actually pay for this fight at what has been reported as 75 million per side?

If what you call "education" led you to that misguided, incomplete and irrational rant, consider me uneducated.
