Outboxed one of the greatest to ever lace em up...Oscar Delahoya. Not once but twice. And people say that DLH won that fight, but it was very close, could of gone EITHER way.

Don't be sorry, you can have your opinion bout Tito....Yes he beat Whitaker but not on his prime, but who's fault it is? Tito or Whitaker?

I'll tell you why i like Tito as a fighter (besides rep PR in this great sport), He always went to fight and gaved great exciting fights to his fans, With him it was just sign the fight and it was on. He still has the record of most defenses of a welter title. He became champ at the early age of 20 ktfo Maurice blocker. Yes he fought two green but good and UNDEFEATED fighter's in Vargas and Reid. Also he fought Reid at Jr Middle just 6 months after his victory over DLH at Welter. He faught an undefeated Yory Boy Campas that at the time was 56-0-0 with 50 Ko's and many ppl though he was the new JCC. He beat a lot of good fighters like Oba Carr, Joppy, etc...**** I remember when Nard beat him and started chanting USA, USA, USA,...But the guy that stayed in NY helping was Tito not Nard. Just my 2 cents. Peace.

        I'll give my 2 cents...

I think Felix was a special fighter but he was overated. But however good he may be, he is unworthy of the attention bestowed upon him. They talk of how he thoroughly dismantled that legendary Pernell Whitaker and bowled over Oscar De La Hoya and half killed David Reid. That's garbage.

By the time Whitaker fought Trinidad, he was 35 years old, hadn't fought in over a year and had spent time in rehab for ******* addiction. He lost 8 rounds to 4 against DLH. He beat an inexperienced pro in David Reid who only had 14 proffesional bouts under his resume when he fought Trinidad.

By never once looking impressive, having only minimal success and only when his opponent failed to take the initiative, and failing to work the body, cut off the ring, score with powerful right hands and score with the jab, Trinidad exposed himself against DLH, Hopkins, and Winky Wright.

Tito was a good fighter. He totally dismantled people who were placed infront of him. The only type of fighters he had trouble with were the ones with a great jab. And 2/3 he lost to were bigger than him.

yep, no way was tito a legit middleweight, while b-hop was a big middleweight.

winky had fought at lightweight for most of his career (i think)
and theres no shame in losing to dlh who is a great fighter.

Tito is good yet, another boxer that never fights to his true potential. The only named boxer he fought was oscar.I would like to see trindad come back from retirement and fight quailty opponents how he is capable of doing.

tito is a legend, but he lost to de la hoya, winky and b-hop. i do think OSCAR's carrer is slightly better, and TITO is one of the best fighters from this era. a lil overated, but 1 thing 4 sure he was exciting as hell, some ***en awesome power. CHICO reminds me of him...

winky wright, mosley has done alot better.

so who do you think would win (poll) and how (thread)

personally i think mosley would be backpeddling all night, his footwork
aint too good nowadays so i doubt hed avoid titos power all night.

i think rds 7-10 is where tito would catch mosley, putting him down
more than once, then shane surviving the last few rds to lose to a md
Tito's style is tailor-made for a guy like Winky. I see Mosley getting hit with bombs but with that iron chin of his I don't see him going down. What a great fight that would be, both in their primes, hell even now! Would remind me A LOT of Hearns-Leonard 2 in that both are past their prime but still will give a helluva effort.
