Not taking anything away from Cotto but the Margarito I saw out there is DONE. He looks even slower than his usual normal slow self and can't pull the trigger the way he used to.
It's been hard for me as a Margarito fan after the whole wrap scandal because I know he cheated or knew something about the cheating. I have been in the sport too long to know that you know exactly what is going on your own wraps.
Marg is a warrior though, the dude has incredible heart and courage. His fitness level isn't in question and it has never been. It's just that he's got a lot of miles on that odometer and he isn't the same fighter as once before.
His big money fights with elite fighters are done. He can still entertain at lower level competition but this is the end for the beast we knew and loved, the fighter who was feared by everyone.
