Coming into the fight, correct me if I'm wrong: Nacho said Cotto would win it, Chávez SR said Cotto wins by UD, Margo could win by KO. And after the fight, Chávez Jr said he wished it wasn't stopped, but that Cotto was going to win it anyways. He also said that Cotto is a great champion.

Seems a bit weird but I think it's called for. If you still supported Margarito after January of 2009, you deserve this and much more. I can understand that Margarito needs to still earn a livelihood for his family. Whether I like it or not, he will still try to secure work for himself but I can't understand those who call themselves boxing fans and support him still even after he committed the biggest sin you can commit as a boxer.
