lol @ boxingcsene writers trolling margarito's fans. give them a break they've been on damage control since the fight ended.

After the mosley fight he was the same way. I don't even think Shane bruised him before KO but in the post fight interview Tony didn't know why ref stopped it because apparently he was ready to continue & 'felt good' LOL. Yeah, he's flat on his a$$ and somehow the fight is going to turn in his favor. Tony's chin is a blessing and a curse.
If you watched the ppv the other night, Cotto was stunning Margarito with stiff jabs and he'd flash a BS smile(pretending his eye didn't hurt) and press forwards for more punishment--after the ref had JUST threatened to stop the match. Atleast cover up moron, that's no way to win a lopsided fight. But since Margarito only knows one game plan and his D sucks that's what he gets. He was desperate for a KO -___-

He knew Cotto was coming after the eye, Cotto told everyone he was going to take advantage of it so why wouldn't Margarito protect himself? Don't make excuses for him. He knew what he was in for when he signed the contract. Cotto abandoned the body work and frequented the right side of Tony's face. In the last rounds Cotto was manhandling Margarito, trapping him against the ropes and battering the living **** out of him.

When ref stopped it, Cotto fans were upset because they wanted to see their man pull a Mosley on Margarito, and from the looks of things it was bound to happen. Watch the 8th-9th round again and tell me Cotto wasn't pulling Marg's strings like a marionette. It was brilliant. Diaz told him to get against the ropes, flip positions with Margarito and load up. When Miguel had success, Margarito taunted him(same way mayorga did)for more exchanges, but Miguel kept a cool head and looked for his spots. You talk about Margarito mocking him? Miguel looked as confident as ever, like he had his man figured out. Margarito had no peripheral vision and was throwing blind jabs and hooks that weren't ****. He wasn't landing with frequency and being countered. Miguel proved he was the better man.

No. But, really, if he did "take Cotto's soul" in the first fight, Miguel certainly got it back on saturday.
I used to really like Tony. I like his balls, his courage, his toughness, and I loved watching him in the ring. Actually, all of those things still hold true, I just don't respect him anymore. I think it's rather poetic justice that after being licensed to fight again, which he never deserved, he has been beaten into irrelevance. I hope he keeps fighting, honestly, cause I don't mind his family being able to eat, and I don't mind watching him get his ass kicked in the ring.

Please puto, Mosley wasn't being called a ***** by you for holding vs Margs was he? Cuz he aint Rican maybe? Its call clinching and boxing plus your boy got pushed like a *****. He couldnt hurt Miguel with his inside shots this time, seriously. Cotto was doing damage from early and Margs' pressure as I said before isn't effective vs a great boxer like Cotto w/o power/plaster. And *** those title shots dude the boxing world gives titles away like candy. PR is smaller than a Mexican barrio and we up there in those stats anyway, it's actually tied, not that I give a ****. I don't condone Toney's steroid use in the past. However, having loaded gloves is a serious crime and could end tragically for the opponent. Try to separate the two before you make further dumbs comparisons and leave your heritage out of it.

I like Marg...I never hide that fact...But, I'm happy for Cotto. His fans annoy the hell out of me. But, I got tons of respect for Cotto. I like how he carries himself and goes about his business. I felt bad for Marg TBH but I'm alright after the lost. Because, I give him the benefit of the doubt in the first Cotto fight. But, I'm happy for Cotto cuz' I know he wanted this win very badly. So good for him for doing that.

And a number of journalists have taken a swipe at Margarito since that fight, many have in fact. I dont think they have forgotten about the 12-month ban, immediate #1 jmw ranking upon reinstatement, and subsequent pac-payday..... I think that many suspect that aside from all of the precedents/opinions/technicalities, the right thing happened on Saturday night.

I just think he is having a bit of a laugh at people who he feels openly supported a cheater.
