    Hattons condition for next figt

I was wondering if anyone was seen how Ricky Hatton is looking in training for his next fight agaisnt Maussa.

I saw pics of him after the Kosta fight and he put on lots of weight which all looked to be fat. I know apparently he does this all the time but there is a huge chance of an upset if Hatton underates Maussa and hasnt lost all that fat and regained peak fitness.

With the fight a few weeks away, does anyone know how he is doing? and is anyone else worried about how he puts on all this extra weight and has to keep losing it? it didnt do much good for RJJ

isnt it funny that alot of peeps think hatton is fighting someone he
should beat hands down, and hes taking the easy route. funny cause it
was ok for harris to fight maussa, as a warm up for a bigger fight.

If Hatton is playing the James Toney game with the scales it will catch up to him at some point and bite him in his ass, just as it did when James fought Roy. Ballooning up between fights is a dangerous thing because while training your mind will be about the weight lose instead of the actual fight. Aswell, your training while dropping lots of weight will be less effective and grueling, doing it on an empty stomach and dehydrated body. I hope that Hattons handlers have looked after him well, because losing those last few pounds can really drain you of strength and endurance. And it could make a rather easy match up into a fight for your life, let alone your title.

According to an interview in Boxing Monthly, while Hatton's trainers are concerned with the way he goes about it (though so far it's always worked) at this point he's about two weeks ahead of schedule by his own reckoning.

One thing Billy Graham does that I never knew is let his fighters spar fresh and go on runs in the evenings, not in the mornings. As Hatton has some of the best stamina I've seen in a modern fighter, I wonder if he's got a point?

Hatton has had 39 fights,he takes weight off as easy as he puts it on. SO i cant see this fight being any different from the rest. Im one of the lucky ones going to Sheffield to see this fight and i predict Hatton will dispose of Maussa within 4 rounds.I saw the Maussa Harris fight, Maussa didnt impress me,all he done was throw haymakers which unluckily caught the terrible Harris and the rest is history. Hatton will be carrying away the WBA belt along with his IBF and WBU belts, after this one bring on Mayweather.
