LOL....geez...no wonder why Bob Scumbag Arum is so successful!!! People just believe every single hype!!!
Before some of you go crazy and start writing bs, I do like Rios. He's a very entertaining fighter, he got balls and loves wars.
But lets be honest, he's 5'9" and step into the ring close to 160lbs, and he fights at 135. He doesn't have the best defense, very little head movement and love wars...some of you know where I'm going with this.
At 140 he'll still dominate some fighters. This is the reason Arum want to see him with Alvarado. Now Maidana will beat Brandon handily, will be same size with a better punch, skills and experience. Rios still have a better chin but will be in front of Maidana. Chino took Ortiz punch and Ortiz is a way better puncher than Rios, Now, JMM will embarrass this kid, will toy with him for 7-8 rnds and then finish him. Rios will be perfect for JMM counter punching style, too much skills. People we are talking in JMM one of the best fighters to ever lived, if I was Mexican I'll be livid with some yours comments...Saying that Rios/JMM will be competitive and close fight is a sacrilegious!!! But Rios will make some noise for sure!!!

eff those guys, bring on mayweather !thats what I want to see relentless pressure vs boxer, rios stands to lose brawling against the likes of maidana,its all about the styles.for ex. Pacman is 5 times a stronger brawler than just about anybody JMM is 5 times a better boxer than pac is thats what makes their fights so succsesfull in terms of watching two very entertaining, perfected yet vastly deifferent styles.Its more competetive and pleasing to watch, two sluggers are fun also but thats just too common ,can see that at a bar if I want.imho....

That's how you ruin your up and coming fighter. Put Rios in against his brother Ortiz. Have Rios fight Morales. Have him fight Shane Mosley. He's not ready for Marquez or Maidana!

Hmmmm....I think Rios pretty much back up his talk.. but his last performance was pretty bad, he shouldv'e pretty much done with Murray quick... BUt JMM and Maidana KO him out cold..He's not strong enuff and def not skilled enuff for either guy... Cmon JMM beat Pacroid, he will have a counter punching attack fiesta.... literally..>>!

Marquez would counter the kid all night for a hard fought decision. He would have a good chance against MM though. Rios can take a punch & we all know he can dish it. I'd love to see this fight.
