yes he beat Ortiz in the amatuers, and last time I checked, Khan took Maidana's best punches and never went down. Maidana made Ortiz quit.

    Khan - 2, Ortiz - 0

Ortiz in my opinion is a much stronger fighter than maidana.... I remember the hype that he is the new mike tyson until he quit on maidana...

I think ortiz beat khan by tko or ko

The Ortiz that fought Berto gives Khan hell and has a brilliant chance of stopping him.

Maidana's punches are more thudding and accumulative almost like Antonio Margarito's.

Ortiz's punches have more snap. The type that drops people right on the spot.

That is the type of puncher that would shatter Khan.

Let's not kid ourselves. Khan has a glass mandible. it's a worry in every fight.

ortiz is bigger and faster than anyone khan has fought in the pro ranks. if ortiz got khan anywhere near the ropes i think it would spell trouble. khan is fast on his feet but i dont think his footwork is that great and his boxing iq is lacking a little. i think ortiz could catch up to him at some point. if maidana can get khan near the ropes i dont see why ortiz couldn't.

i'd love to see these 2 and maidana (depending on whether alexander wins legit) all mix it up again at 147

              No, just no.

I used to think Ortiz was Amir's biggest threat as well but their careers have drastically changed in the last two years.

                    Bradley.

Amir still beats him. But at 140-147, apart from Mayweather and Pacquiao, Timmy gives Amir a run for his money.

I don't dislike any matches for him.
