Comments Thread For: Juanma Eyes Orlando Salido Rematch For Feb. or March

Former champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez (31-1, 28KOs) is already starting to train and prepare himself for a possible rematch with Mexico's Orlando Salido, who stopped Juanma to capture the WBO's featherweight title on April 16 in Bayamon. During Top Rank's recent trip to New York for Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito pay-per-view, the company CEO Bob Arum sat down with Showtime to discuss an official date for the fight. Juanma expects a date in February or March.

Why Isn't the Rematch in Mexico? I swear didn't Salido stop Juanma? Why is it under Juanmas Conditions. I hate when this **** happens it should be under Salidos Terms, I hate Bob arum so Much . But I hate more the fact the Mexican Fighters that don't stand up for themselves in the Sport of Boxing.

As much as I dislike Lopez, He will beat Salido...

The Bum is beating the Bum-er.

Juanma Threw technicality out of the window once he thought he was invincible. From a Boxer-Puncher/ Counter-Puncher to a bum looking brawler? Give me a break.

Go away Juanma. Ricans are finally embracing a good boxer in Cotto. Nobody wants to see your slow, no-defense ass anymore. Change your nationality and go embarrass some other country.

Juanma NEEDS a new corner. His health will suffer with his bombs first / defense later style. He is still young and can still make the appropriate changes, however, CHANGE needs to happen.

Do it for your health and your family.
