Is Cotto the best at JMW?

The toughest fights for him at JMW would be Canelo, Kirkland, Paul Williams, and Lara.

JMW is a stacked division right now. But of the top 10 who beats and Cotto and why?

If he can move like he did in this past fight, he can beat a lot of those guys.

But I would still favor Lara over him. Kirkland and Pwilly beat him if their chins hold up but I'm not so sure they would.

He's the most accomplished 154 fighter in terms of overall experience, but I don't know about best.

It's a mediocre stacked division. There are no elite or close to elite fighter in that division. But, there is no one fighter that heads and shoulders above anyone else. No guy is running away with it.

Cotto best opponent at 154 is one legged Yuri Foreman FFS's. And, Cotto arguably is the #1 JMW.

This right here. Miguel Cotto is the default best 154 lbs due to experience and consistent wins.

Kirkland is up in the air, it really depends how Cotto reacts to Kirkland's power. Because at the same token Cotto hits pretty hard and is a much better boxer then Angulo, so if he hurts Kirkland he will probably put him away.

Williams just looks worse and worse every fight now. I still wanna see that fight though, Ive been wanting to see it for years now. I think Williams would be favored in this fight but I wouldnt be surprised at all if Cotto won.

Honestly I havent seen enough of Lara to judge the fight. He looked real good against Williams, but apparently he got beat by Molina. Im not sure but I wanna see that fight also.

Hard to tell, lots of young guns. He should be smart with his choosing since he's a small 154 pounder. I would love to see him back at 147 if he can make the weight.

I was just looking at it as a division with a lot of competitive fights to be made.

I think he is the best fighter at 154, followed by Saul Alvarez, Lara, Williams and Kirkland in that order

hard to say, but its also hard to argue against it. hes the most proven fighter there at any rate. but i think there are ppl in the division who beat him.

So beating a guy with a glass eye makes you the best? and how in the hell is Williams better than Kirkland?
