Cotto has a title, so Cotto/Chavez will still be a title fight. So, it doesn't really matter if Chavez bring his title into the mix or not. Chavez will vacate.

Alvarez, Cotto, another PWill fight, Kirkland, Lara are all options and some of those would bring good money to the pot and more exposure. But he might get the same treatment at 154 or wherever he goes because he's high risk - low reward, but I reckon someone at 154 would take it.
The funny thing is you probably are not far off the mark when it comes to the WBC

I don't wanna see Cotto fight Jr. If that's Bobs plans for Cotto then he should leave Top Rank and go to GBP. There he could get a fight with the beast Kirkland, the young star Canelo, Lara and maybe Sergio if he was to drop back to 154.

The top two money makers, Cotto and Alvarez, will probably never fight Martinez though. Still, at least the division isn't filled with no-name Europeans like in middleweight. There are more marketable Mexicans and Americans in Jr. middleweight, which will do better ticket sales.
