Vitali probably will return vs whoever is "THE MAN" in the future...

I have a feeling that this retirement is just temp...the man is still pretty young...whoever comes out on top in the HWs or IF Don has the tourney, I can see Vitali returning to face that man...guys just don't retire like this and stay retired knowing that they didn't "go out" the way they had envisioned...

then again Vitali may be satisfied as he said that we at least held the WBC title

Yeah he just wants to get out of the publicity for a while. Take some time off. I've said earlier in the week he should take some time off. Good thing he did. I don't know if he will return, once he starts relaxing and living the good life, don't know if he would want to with all the money that he already has. He also just had a kid so I guess he will spend more time with him. If he does return hopefully by then we will have a undisputed champ.

I personally think hes uncertain about his career and rather than holding up the division he could retire with the title "champion". I think he did this because he knows the 6 months of rehab might change him from the fighter he wants to be plus he's 34 years old and will be 35 when hes done nursing the injury.

This retirement was just so he could say I left the boxing scene as a champ.

If King has the undisputed champion in his hands, there is no way he is going to let him anywhere near Klitschko. Vitali might come back but it will not be easy for him to climb back to the top. If he is going into politics, than he definitely will not come back.
