floyd is a big ducker of all time.....finally he's showing the courage by calling out Pacman after the latter dismal performance on his last two fights but failed to back it up in action as he denied every action that team Pacman has done to make the fight happen...Team Floyd should have prepared the contract and signed it courageously.Then present it to the face of Team Pacman by setting a meeting on both sides on agreed date to discuss the fight instead of denying the other side of doing nothing at all to make the fight finally happen.Floyd called out Pacman, should suppose be the one doing everything to make the fight happen but reality shows a complete opposite...Floyd is at it best in talking but does not showing it in action, plain and simple!!should stay on his closet and fight first timer boxer at WW(those who came from jr WW and even LW and jr LW)...Originally posted by mrjoeblive View PostComment

I'm a Floyd fan and i have to admit he has ducked but so has Manny in the past. That said, you are wrong with your above statement. What we know now is Manny wants the fight and so does Floyd. The problem is Arum.We all know everything flows through Arum and Koncz is very influential also. Arum and Koncz are trying their best to make the fight happen without GoldenBoy and thats whats killing the fight. let me help you out here son. for a valid contract. you need all the groups involved to AGREE on all the language before it can be signed by any of the parties. and most of the time fighters have people that negotiate for them. in this case its Al Haymon for floyd and top rank for pac. all the talk bob arum is doing right now shows me nothing. he is just talking fluff. just like last time. if the talks were serious you would see richard schafer and al haymon for floyd and top rank for pac. but you dont see any of these men talking so there are no negotiations going on. do you really believe konce and roger are discussing a 200mil plus fight extravaganza??????? are you s-e-r-i-o-u-s?????????Originally posted by kamikaze_ero View PostComment

I'm not going to try and defend Floyd's actions because he has done some questionable things. But how the hell do you negotiate a fight when you don't even contact the other guy's people? Like i said earlier, i really do believe that Manny wants the fight but he needs to learn how to talk for himself. I mean, he's a damn politician now. He should be the one forcing Arum and Koncz to contact GoldenBoy but instead, he sits back and allows Arum to talk about some investors no one knows about and Koncz chit chats with R.
