Fast fwd to 5th December, and Top Rank (who have been behind some of the biggest fights for the past 40 odd years, and sure do know how to negotiate a fight properly) show interest towards making a mega fight between Mayweather -vs- Pacquaio by negotiating (not even that, having a chat would be a better way to put it) with ROGER MAYWEATHER - of all people.

Roger was just the ice breaker and he made the introduction between the investors (who came along with Koncz) and Floyd. The investors made a call to Haymon with their offer following the meeting, they're still waiting on Haymon's response.

"I've got a call in to Al Haymon now and I am waiting to hear back from him," Rucker told me in a telephone interview. "We're ready with money for both fighters. We're giving money to Floyd first and then to Manny.

But if you want to believe that Arum went to the trouble of cultivating investors willing to guarantee each fighter $75 million while making him the sole promoter and eliminating his rival GBP, and Koncz brought these investors directly to Floyd, and they then contacted Haymon... as part of one big ruse... then knock yourself out.

Why won't Pacquiao just take the test? That's the only reason this fight isn't happening
