He quit you can't go back in time and pretend it didn't happen
Has Miguel Cotto redeemed himself from being considered a quiter?

Cotto didn't quit, he gave it everything & fought till he had nothing left. If you have nothing left, why continue to recieve a sensless beating? That's quite ******, ala Margarito, his career is over.
Cotto fought until he could not continue. Took the loss like a man. Lived to fight another day & just walked away beating the man that caused it all!! Sending that man off with a painful retirement check.Comment

He redeemed himself a long time ago. He didn't quit against pac and he took a hell of a beating in that fight.Comment

You know what's funny? That same "never say die" mentality in the Pacquiao fight is what severely affected him in Saturday's fight. If he hadn't been that stubborn maybe his eye wouldn't have been in such a bad condition and he would've had better peripheral vision and made a better effort against Cotto.
He didn't quit, so Cotto had an advantage. Long live warriors... :S

^^^You can't praise Margarito for being a warrior and then downplay Cotto's win. It wasn't just the eye, Cotto outclassed Margarito for more than half the fight and we were in round 9. So I don't see how Cotto didn't get his revenge. He got his victory, avenged his loss...period.Last edited by TintaBoricua; 12-05-2011, 11:35 AM.Comment

He never was a quitter in my book. Only a ****** mother****er would call Cotto a quitter, especially after knowing now WITHOUT DOUBT that Margacheato had plastered hand wraps in the first fight.Comment
