      How pumped are you?

Your boy killed it on Saturday. Looked absolutely amazing. I watched it with my boy who is a really big boxing guy but just wasn't all that familiar with Moreno and after the final bell rang he turned to me and just went "he beats Donaire right now".

Moreno really impressed me, I think he made a lot of fans.

Props for turning me on to him, I'm glad I was familiar with him going into the fight on Saturday.

It was a great night of boxing.

I hated that there was 2 events that I wanted to see on the same night. I made a thread about it, that I didn't know what to do. So I ordered the Marg-Cotto event but watched Moreno-Darchinyan and then tuned in to the PPV.

I am very happy for Moreno that he showed a brand new audience who probably never heard of him what he is capable of.

I wish a Donaire fight can be made. I was disappointed when it fell through. I doubt it can be made anytime soon since it seems like Donaire will be fighting WV2. So bring on Moreno-Mares

A huge call, but Moreno has a great chance imho, he will make life very difficult for Nonito. Moreno is the truth, but Donaire is lethal and also superbly skilled, I cant think of a better fight right now.

I think right now that the only one that could beat Chemito is Mares because of his speed, body punching and combination skills.

You must mean, apart from Donaire ?

There is nobody at bantam that Donaire cannot beat, he can KTFO anyone.

He is very fast, and very precise, you simply cannot afford to make a mistake against him. Whilst Moreno's performance against Darchinyan was a masterclass, it was not mistake-free..... in saying that, the pressure was very intense at times.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves here, Donaire is still the man at bantam.

Whilst I agree that Moreno's performance was a little Whittaker'ish, he is not Pernell Whittaker, and nobody was making those comparisons after the Parra fight.

It took Darchinyan to enable Moreno to look that good.

Dont get me wrong, I love Moreno man, he could be special, and he is very high on my list of favorite fighters right now..... but Moreno is actually not this big secret like everyone has tried to make out, so lets wait and take a real good look before we throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Donaire doesn´t count, he is too big and that gives him too much advantages. Donaire wont get any respect from me until he proves himself against boxers of his size. Sure Donaire shines a lot, but that is because he is not afraid of the power of the much smaller guys, once you put a bigger competition in front of him he will start collecting loses just like Darchinyan. I mean, there is a reason why he has been sticking to these minor divisions despite his bigger body.

Moreno won't fight Donaire anytime soon. Not only is Donaire moving up but he's with Top Rank and Moreno is with GBP...

                    Nonito Donaire = height 5′ 7″, reach 68″

                    Anselmo Moreno = height 5′ 8″, reach 69˝″

If Donaire is not a true bantam, and he is killing himself to make weight, then it is highly likely then he will struggle with stamina/strength in the later rounds..... so it should be easy to beat Donaire, all you gotta do is stay in the fight, take him late, and drown him..... easy work

Boxing uses weight divisions, not height divisions.

Well, if that is the size it will be a good fight. Still one wonders why he has to pick up only the midgets.
