that cintron fight showed that its time for canelo to fight someone good. I hope he fights someone who is a belt holder or at least top 10 at 154 and has been winning or competitve lately. I think canelo vs cotto would be really good and idk about them fighting later because i think if cotto fights someone relevant in his next fight i could see him losing.

I think Canelo is too big for Cotto. Cotto really shouldn't be at 154 in the first place. And Canelo should be at 160. He's a big kid. I'm sure by fight night he'd be close to super middleweight or bigger. That's his biggest advantage over Cotto. Without the weight advantage Cotto gives him a beating.

Alvarez is still too green still. He gets hit all too clean and often so Cotto would have the advantage on that.

Then the other side is vs Chavez jr that I think is too big for Cotto

nah man. Canelo was playing with Gomez. Using the shoulder roll defense and practicing counter punching. That has signs of playing with, all over it.

I think it would be a very good fight. They look the same size and height. As a matter of fact, they kinda have the same style as well. Canelo seems to have more natural ability though.

I think the experience factor may get Cotto the W. That is, if Cotto can take his punches. A lot of Canelo match ups deal with his crazy power. If Cotto can handle it, I think he can win.

              I honestly don't think so.

Even though Cotto isn't the same fighter from '08, I still think Canelo is suspeptable to Cotto's style.

I feel Canelo was losing the fight to Gomez before the early stoppage. I can only imagine what Cotto would do. If they do fight though, this would be a huge step up in competition for Canelo, which is what we want. For Cotto, because of his experience, I think it would just be another fight.

I think Cotto takes it via stoppage.
