Things that Cotto worked on since the last fight or did well

    -worked on his stamina issue

-stayed off the ropes unlike the last fight where he constantly tried to do that Mayweather ropes ducking and dodging **** (let's face it, he was getting hit really hard trying to do this in the first fight)

-circled around in clockwise rotation (Tony already lunges when he throws his right but when a fighter is circling around it makes him have to lunge forward even more, resulting in Cotto landing MANY straight lefts to Tony's face as he came forward

-avoided brawling at all costs, Cotto isn't the greatest brawler out there and he knew that getting tangled up in a brawl against Tony was a bad idea, so he didn't let it happen

    -clinched at the right moments

-getting on the inside when Tony wanted to brawl, and avoided letting Tony get on the inside

These are a few reasons why I think Miguel Cotto boxed beautifully last night. Feel free to disagree or to add more to the list.

Obviously, James Toney was right about Emmanuel Steward.

none of the above. Margarito is way past prime, and Cotto isnt as good either. but Cotto has more left than Margs.
