Cotto would never fight in Mexico not against Margarito, he wont fight Margarito outside of NY and Puerto Rico thats a fact. There is a reason this fight was in NY and we found out why Saturday.

I am sorry but Margaritos eye was not that bad, even Smoger was ****ed up by the stoppage. when a fighter is fighting back and clearly not getting unloaded on, and actually shifting the fight in his favor why stop the fight at that point?

plaster or not, Cotto cannot hurt Marg even with a bat in his hand. his power is notthing to Marg's chin, i never saw him hurt, wobble, stumble, nothing and Cotto was throwing with all his might to no avail, yeah it was getting him points but the pressure Marg was applying was about to pay off when it was stopped.

and i dont get why it was even stopped, fighters boxing with one eye is nothing new, and even marg said hes willing to die and still think Cotto hits like a girl. and i dont see how that is ''revenge'' , the a.ss whoppen Cotto took was more severe, he needed to do something similar to make it even.

I agree with you, 100% the fight was tilting in Margaritos favor when they stopped it, Miguel cant hurt tony, he cant stop him, and Cotto I dont believe can make it to the cards against Tony..

I am seriously sick of hearing Margarito's name, he is now irrelevant in boxing. The guy has had too many chances to prove that he hasn't been cheating all along, all while collecting big paychecks and proving nothing. Call out Mosley, then I'll be interested. That shìt isn't going to happen.

Come on Margarito fans, stop being delusional. Cotto is the better overall fighter at this time, point blank. Look at the facts: since the first fight Cotto is 5-1 and Margs is 1-3 (no contest), for 9 rounds this past fight it was a one sided boxing clinic and Miguel was in total control of the fight (no contest), Cotto is a champion @ 154 who can draw fans to a fight, Margs is a washed up journeyman at this point who will struggle to get a license anywhere outside of Mexico (no contest). Margs is a slow, mechanical, human punching bag with a bad a** chin and that's it. It was ironic to see him reduced to half a** arm punches. Since the hand wrap scandal he is nothing. Deal with the facts and find a proper fighter to support, how about Canelo or Jcc Jr? Those are young fighters on the up and up who aren't proven cheats like Antonio Margarito will always be remembered as.
