Was actually leaning towards Angulo as a possibillty since everyone is fascinated with Slo-Mo fights that one would actually be a live version.
But Mayorga would also be good however he'd prob move a bit and not engage like Angulo

Shane, Pacquaio, Cotto beatdowns followed by Kirkland or Angulo then his sentance would be almost up for his disgraceful actions.
I mean, Margarito career's done anyway. All his remaining fights will be 'How long can my eye last' and 'look how good my chin is' anyway.
It's true, though. Margarito's chin hasn't deteriorated. It's his eye that swells up that's his downfall.
I wouldn't mind seeing Mayorga/Margarito. It's a "safe" opponent at 154, ticket sales will go up with the trash-talking, and you know the styles will be good.
But at this point, Margarito's eye is now undoubtedly a much bigger factor in fights than people imagine.Last edited by TintaBoricua; 12-04-2011, 04:08 PM.

Here's my thing with Mayorga.
He took a lot of shelf years off his career when he would drop his hands and let Forrest and Trinidad **** him continuously. Not to mention he's been stopped by Trinidad, Cotto, Mosley, and DLH, I believe Mayorga's chin is done and is mentally a gate keeper.
But in the same breath, I don't think Margarito's power is what it once was for obvious reasons. He still has a chin, I give him that.
I think this fight is more of a comedic sideshow than anything; something for the public to laugh at.
If it does happen, I think both guys get hurt in the fight. I think Mayorga would probably hurt Margarito more even without the injured eye. I think Mayorga would take it solely on the eye injury, but without the injury I think it's a pickem fight. Both are nowhere near what they use to be.Last edited by BoxingGenius27; 12-04-2011, 04:42 PM.

Mayorga said he wouldn't fight Margarito because he should be banned from the sport, but I can see him changing his mind as soon as Arum and Don King start throwing dollar signs in the air.
