    Rios-Murray Was SICK

Seriously, I seen no one talking about this fight. This fight was so awesome.

Brandon Rios is ALL man. He was probably half dead and found a way to pull out the stoppage late. Amazing performance.

And props to Murray, he gave a great account for himself.

    Very good fight.

I don't like Rios but he is relentless and very strong.

140 is gonna get alot tougher if he moves up.

If anything, all my props goes to Murray. He fought his heart out like a warrior.

Shame on Top Rank for making this fight. I called this cherry pick before it the fight even happened.

Matthysse and Maidana would stop Rios at 140. I bet Bob doesn't put Rios in the ring with either guy. Bob will continue to cherry pick for Rios. He'll probably fight Katsidis or somebody next.

The thing is, was that the Real Rios?

I feel like he was slightly weakened from all the weight drama.

To fight like he does, you have to be in very very good shape, and at your strongest, and I don't think he was.

Props to Murray though. He never gave up for a second, or backed up for a second.

The punchers you mentioned, while having great power, aren't that compact with their punches. Rios get in on them and he could do damage assuming he's at his physical best.

Why does Rios get a pass for fighting a guy coming off a TKO loss against a domestic level fighter?

It probably was a weight drained Rios.

But the fact is, Murray was tailor made for Rios on Rios' worse day.

But Murray surprised me and I give him all the credit.

It was a good fight for the first few rounds, but then it got really boring. The phone booth style got really repetitive and I felt like I was watching the same round over and over again.
