"Promoter Bob Arum is looking to place two world title fights scheduled for the undercard of Saturday's aborted Klitschko-Rahman fight. "Margarito and Gomez we offered to HBO and they said they couldn't accomodate it on the Mayweather card, even though they agreed it was a terrific fight," Arum told *********.com today. "We offered Margarito-Gomez and Martin Castillo-Alexander Munoz to SHOWTIME in January but I'm not optimistic that that would happen. We're also talking about doing a fight with Miguel Cotto in February in which case we would try to link it up with the Margarito-Gomez fight and put Castillo-Munoz on the Erik Morales-Manny Pacquiao card. One thing is sure. Those fights and those fighters are not going to be abandoned because as a fail safe, if I can't secure a position on HBO or SHOWTIME for Margarito, I would against the [Winter] Olympics mount a pay-per-view card around Margarito in February."
