Margarito was never a big hitter it was just his non stop volume punching and pressure that made him so dangerous.I hate saying it because its such an excuse but last night proves Margarito is shot but Cotto was very impressive proves in my opinion hes still a threat to the top.Hopefully Margo retires now he has had a great career and has made alotta money

Sad to say it but since they took away the pads in the Mosley fight Margarito has been a Mexican version of Baldomir.

              Agree.

              Cotto was superb.

A tall, Mexican, Baldomir with obscene stamina.

              He still beats Cintrón, though.

Yeah, I agree with the Cintron fight but Clottey would've beat him IMHO. some fighters just are mentally brittle. They are tough but they crack where others might bend and sometimes even persevere. Ortiz, Cintron and Judah I think all fall into that brittle category.

Couldn't agree more. Margo has a chance with the nutcases, by only imposing his will. People like Golden Johnson and Cintrón should not look for a rematch with him, but Martínez and Clottey definitely should.
