That's the beauty of Cotto: you know that a big punch landed by his opponent (assuming his opponent is an elite fighter, not like tonight) can totally change the momentum at any given moment, so you live on the edge of his sweet science and breathe a sigh of relief at the end of many of his victories.

I can't see Kirkland vs Cotto go to the scorecards. Somebody is going to get KO'd in that fight. Kirkland will force Cotto to fight and both will land big shots. Like I said somebody will get knocked the F_uck out.

For all of the talking Floyd has done about Manny fighting his leftovers, it would be very hypocritical for Floyd to then take on Cotto.

              N.Y. favors Cotto.
Really now. Those were not robberies. Even though i was rooting for Cotto, i thought it would just be like the 1st fight if Marg's eye hold up. Cotto had a good game plan. He was moving out after landing punches. He didn't do much of that during the 1st fight. Marg did land some good punches and there were a couple of rounds that is making it look like the 1st fight.

Lol come on, you know it's Chavez Jr. Arum is not going to put Cotto in with Lara, Kirkland, Williams, Canelo, Angulo or none of those guys. He knows Cotto is not a young 31. He's not a prime fighter and hasn't been for a while now. Look at him actually going 12[or 11 and a half it makes Cotto fans feel better] with Mayorga, and taking that long to stop that version of Margarito, and it was just a doctor stoppage. Of course it's going to be Chavez Jr...every other guy there beats him and then it's not in Arum's financial interests. So it doesn't make sense financially for Arum, and they are not exactly easy fights for Cotto. So why take those fights? Keep it in-house against Chavez Jr, a winnable fight, both fighters get paid, and most importantly for Arum, he himself gets paid. Come on, you know the drill when it comes to Top Rank.

I hope it's pacman. Cotto made the mistake of trying to stand in front of Pacman last. But now that Marquez has exposed him of not being able to cut the ring off & is easily beaten by movement & counterpunching, he can beat him.
