Originally posted by JUYJUYHere's a quatrain from him (C1, Q25) dated 1549. At the time it would have meant nothing, but after the fight...well.
Here it is:
"And from the East, a dark prince shall arrive in the Valleys of Light. This prince shall begin his journey from the Island of Angels, but will hail from further east still. This prince will have already left behind him a bloody trail of broken enemies, and he shall seem unstoppable. Entering the battleground by air, as if by magic, he shall roar his loyalty to his god so loudly, that his proclamation will be heard across the world.
And from the West, an Aztec king shall come to oppose him. The battle will begin as the sun fades from the sky, and shall rage until the darkness has fallen. The Aztec king shall prevail, and no more shall the dark prince terrorise the world. The Aztec will bear the name of a Roman Emporer: Mark Anthony."
Analysis:
"And from the East, a dark prince shall arrive in the Valleys of Light."
'Las Vegas' is Spanish for 'The Valleys, 'Valleys' from Nostradamus' point of view being a reference to the huge boulevards surrounded by tall buildings, and 'light' is an obvious reference to the glitz of the city;
"This prince shall begin his journey from the Island of Angels,"
A reference to England being an island. 'Engle' is medieval English for 'Angel'. The modern German word is still close, 'Engel'. Hence, Engle-land.
"but will hail from further east still".
A reference to his Yemeni ancestry.
"This prince will have already left behind him a bloody trail of broken enemies, and he shall seem unstoppable".
No explanation needed.
"Entering the battleground by air, as if by magic, he shall roar his loyalty to his god so loudly, that his proclamation will be heard across the world".
This is a reference to his typically ostentatious arrival on a swing (that is nearly impossible to see from a distance) starting from the rafters, and his chants of "allah-hu-akbar" into the microphone being heard by boxing fans globally.
"And from the West, an Aztec king shall come to oppose him".
A reference to Marco's Mexico City heritage, and a 'king' of Boxing.
"The battle will begin as the sun fades from the sky, and shall rage until the darkness has fallen".
The fight started just before sundown, and last just under an hour.
"The Aztec king shall prevail, and no more shall the dark prince terrorise the world. The Aztec will bear the name of a Roman Emporer: Mark Anthony."
No prizes for guessing that 'Mark Anthony' is an anglicisation of 'Marco Antonio'.

That's pretty cool how you took out some of the original words and put something else in place, there was never any mention of "Mark Anthony" in Nostradamus's book, and well we can all make our own interpretations just like the bible but when he meant "tall mountains" he was most likely referring to NYC and the whole 9-11 tragedy. But your just having fun w/ it, it's all good.Comment

No, this in fact predicting the arrival & success of none other than the musician - Prince
"And from the East, a dark prince shall arrive in the Valleys of Light. This prince shall begin his journey from the Island of Angels, but will hail from further east still."
This is obviously referring to how Prince arrived in Los Angeles, from Minneapolis - 'Valley of Light', 'City of Lights' ... what's the diff?
Includes a reference to his further-east African roots.
"This prince will have already left behind him a bloody trail of broken enemies, and he shall seem unstoppable. Entering the battleground by air, as if by magic, he shall roar his loyalty to his god so loudly, that his proclamation will be heard across the world."
By air - by magic.. DUH?? Radio???
Prince ruled the airwaves, and left other bands in his wake.
"And from the West, an Aztec king shall come to oppose him. The battle will begin as the sun fades from the sky, and shall rage until the darkness has fallen. The Aztec king shall prevail, and no more shall the dark prince terrorise the world. The Aztec will bear the name of a Roman Emporer: Mark Anthony."
Gets a bit hazy here. I thought the guy from Van Halen was Michael Anthony - and they did mount a big challenge in 1984, from a city with a big Aztec influence. Mexican is also listed as one of his favourite foods. Spooky, eh? And both Van Halen & Prince's support bands nearly ALWAYS performed as the sun faded from the sky, and the main acts liked to perform when darkness had fallen.
Prince went from 'the Devils Music' - rock - to more funk & dance not long after. So Prince stopped terrorising the world.
This is really spooky.Comment
