  • What is the commissions purpose in the dressing room?

Now i keep hearing that people should be there from the other camp, I thought someone from the commission was supposed to be in the dressing room at all times and especially during wrapping, can I get some insight from you guys.

How did Marg drink coffee if the commission is there?

The Texas State Athletic Commission is a complete joke. That's why he was allowed to drink coffee. He could of shot up heroin and the commission wouldn't have done anything. There's your explanation.

New York is the most strict when it comes to the rules. So you don't need to worry.

What about ****m having to be there, and finding something, that was in Cali.
My question is, shouldn't there be someone in the dressing room or is the opposing team suppose to have someone there?

Thats supposed to be the rule but many times it doesnt happen for whatever reason. Some corners do and some do not.

There is someone from the commission there at all times. However sometimes the commission doesn't have such a keen eye for small things like boxing people(especially trainers) do. So they send people from the opposing team to go observe. It's completely optional though.

****m caught Margarito while his trainer was re-wrapping his hands. ****m then checked the pad and it felt stiff. That's how he got caught.

That's what i'm trying to understand, Cotto says that Marg cheated in his fight, now wasn't someone from NSAC in there to watch Marg wrap his hands.

Even though we're not 100% sure that Marg cheated against Cotto, shouldn't their be some blame from Cotto's team against the NSAC for what they think happened.

The commission is usually present for the ref giving the pre-fight instructions to fighters, and when the final taping of the gloves are made, the NSAC or whomever, signs off on the taped gloves.

Usually when opposite cornermen are involved it's because a mutual agreement has been made between each fighter's camps to be present for these rituals. (Like Floyd vs Ortiz)
