This round is a perfect classic example of why Marquez won the fight and yet was screwed (apart from the fact that Arum paid off the judges). Pac bounced around and did a lot of stuff that didn't actually mean anything. It looked like he was doing things with his bouncing and hopping back and forth.

How compubox had Pac landing 21 punches is beyond me and just shows how utterly useless that stat can be. 19 of those 21 punches were absolutely nothing but weak, glancing blows which hardly landed at all. He landed about 3 clean shots and only 1 of those was a good, hard punch.

Marquez won the first two minutes with the only clean hard punches. The right hand in the first minute was the only good punch by either and then the counter left and right in the second minute won him that part. The last minute was closer and both landed a couple of ok shots but Marquez won the round with more clean shots. He won the majority of the round and landed the harder, cleaner punches.

Pretty clear round. Especially in slow-mo.
