Good fight, felt kinda weird about the outcome though, I thought Macklin did way more against Sturm to deserve a draw or even a victory. Wasnīt that impressed with Murray, he hit a lot on the gloves...Sturm came out pretty aggressive and his jab set the pace I thought... Draw might be fair, but considering Sturmīs the champ and did have a pretty hight workrate... I had it 115-113 Sturm... oh btw had the fight lasted 5 more secs Murray would have been knocked out.

The result was a gift for Sturm. Murray won by a 3 round margine. Sturm is a scared coward who refuses to fight Golovkin and other good oppposition. A paper champ

I didn't think it was a monotonous fight! I thought it was a great little bout.

It could have gone either way in my opinion. No robbery for me. Draw a fair result. Fair play to Martin Murray though. He's definitely arrived & Britain has three decent Middleweights in Barker, Macklin & Murray.

Hopefully there'll be a rematch sooner rather than later. However, Sturm will probably want options on Murrays future fights if he wins & that could put the mockers on it.

i watched it live and thought Sturm won, verry suprised about the draw in his backyard but im happy about it cause he got some gift decisions in the past too. I agrree Sturm is a paper champ and Murray nothing special just a mediocre boxer without punching power. He had even less punching power than Sturm. But the fight was still entertaining.

Action from beginning to end and it really was a great fight. It really was refreshing to watch two fighters that obviously trained go toe to toe and fight for 12 rounds. As far as Murray is concerned. He has decent defense and puts his punches together well with decent hand speed. With that said. I don't believe it was a matter of Sturm looking bad or slipping I just think Murray is a better fighter then most are willing to admit. But, I will say I not understand why Sturm did not throw as many power punches as he should have behind his jab?
