thats what you hope for. in the fights vs shane and ortiz floyd walked down the much bigger ortiz(164lbs) and kept backing up the balls to the wall shane. pac dont have the power of shane or ortiz. and floyds lateral movement will give pac nightmares . floyd wins this contest by late round ko.

O media is putting any pressure on arum.... Espn is still calling floyd a coward. Still saying pac looked bad to lure floyd out etc......

Really no major networks are on arums ass about this nonsense.....

this should not be the case. I know for a fact arum isnt gonna sit back and let this money slip through his hands bro.....

this is the greedy j-w arum bro lmao!!!
Look at it this way. If this fight is really to bog for arum right now so he wants outside sources, then wasnt it too big with teh 1st round of negotiations?? And the infamous countdown clock deadline???

These same people have been contacting arum since before pac fought mosley and arum never responded to these damn people.

smoke and mirrors i tell ya....
expose the hype brother! this may be the first time old bob is trying to make the fight. its too bad so many people have fallen for bobs bs. and espn has always been on bobs side. i lost respect for pardon the interuption. they were blatant *******s. and did not care who knew.

It's funny watching all the Floyd fans discredit the possibility of this fight occuring. To listen to you clowns, most of you don't want to see it happen. It seems most of you would rather squabble and argue all day on Boxingscene rather than see these two guys settle the score in the ring.

The way I see it, I trust Ben Thompson less than I do Arum. You only need to watch one of Ben's videos with Floyd to see what a drooling, sycophantic fanboy he really is: his constant fawning, his perpetual 'Yeah', 'Uh huh', 'That's right' whenever Floyd is talking nonsense. He even refers to Floyd's house as 'the big boy mansion'! Need I say more? It's clear he adores Floyd. I seriously doubt his journalistic impartiality in all of this.

It seems a little too elaborate to assume Arum is going through this entire rigmarole - courting and soliciting interest from major investment groups, for example - simply as a means of 'duping' the public and his own fighter. Clearly Pac is gonna retire soon anyway, so why would Arum fear putting Pac in with Floyd in the most lucrative fight ever?

I'm hopeful. Something tells me this one will happen in May. It just feels like it is going to happen.

I'd dispute that. I think Pac hits just as hard as Ortiz, probably harder. I think Shane hits a little harder than Pac over all, but I wouldn't say there's much in it. Pac definitely presents Floyd with different problems than Shane or Ortiz did. Pac is a much less conventional fighter, is powerful with both hands, applies more pressure, has quicker hands. Even Shane admitted Pac's power was freakish.

That said, of course, Pac's never fought anyone as magnificent as Floyd. Let's just hope this happens in May.

And that will be dangerous for Floyd. Floyd will need to fight back and throw with pacquiao like Marquez did and be lil more aggressive than Marquez was in their 3rd bout to win "clearly".

            As for Pacquiao being exposed...LOL
Pac vs JMM3 was just a confirmation of what boxing fans w/ half a brain already knew was going to happen. The morons who believed Pac would have an easy time w/marquez because of weight etc are ignorant fools who hate Pac or Fanbots that turned him into a superman.
Pac had a close fight with JMM like any boxer has had in their career...Ali/Frazier, Pep/Saddler and Leonard/Hearns. Two supreme fighters giving EACH other fits.

The sad part is that floyd thinks that no boxer in the history of the sport could have done what pac did that's why he's too scared to fight pac with or without his bs test.

In boxing "likes" and "dislikes" sith on and off like an electric switch. If you believe anything coming from Mayweathers' mouth you're not as smart as you've shown to be in other posts.

I'll just commet here that I was positive that Mayweather would want Pacquiao to drop his case first think. I said on these pages seveal times, that if I werePacquiao I wouldn't. That the sudden urgency of mayweather to make the fight was because Pacquiao's lawters were announced 2 weeks ago as having appeared in court to proceed with the case. That brought him a little "reality".......

The "invesors" were already named as being Mayweather buddies, having approached Mayweather. You'll notice that he carefully declined to mention the 2 Pacquiao investors' names....
