  • Comments Thread For: Boswell's Manager: Klitschko-Moremeck is a Mortal Sin

American manager Harry Barnett, who works with 42-year heavyweight Cedric Boswell, can't believe former cruiserweight champion Jean Marc Mormreck will challenge WBO/IBO/WBA/IBf champion Wladimir Klitschko in a few weeks. Barnett expects Klitschko to put a real beating on Mormeck. Meanwhile, Barnett's fighter will finally get his shot at a title when he challenges undefeated WBA "regular" champion Alexander Povetkin on Saturday in Helsinki, Finland.

I agree that Klitschko is going to beat the crap out of Mormeck, however he shouldn't be talking so much about faded boxers since he's managing a 42 year old heavyweight boxer...

"Mortal sin" is a very colorful description. In essence though he is exactly right, this is a crap fight.

Boswell's a bum, poor clubfighter. hes even an unworthy, riskfree opponent for that fraudulant ducker disgrace Povetkin. his style is a complete failjob for someone of his size, defense **** offense barely existent, Valuev-like handspeed no power and little punch resistance. Klitschkos wouldn't even hire him as a sparring partner while Mormeck not only faced superior competition at HW but also gave us fans a lot of classic wars at CW. Bell twice, Hill twice, Haye, Braithwaite, Gurov great action fights.. so while he has zero chance he at least like Adamek deserves some payday for everything hes done and Boswell will be back to where he belongs to after Povetkin beat him up
