this is the world of boxing. nothing is certain. especially with don king in the mix.
lame post. He's making good assumptions base on facts and has hig probability. I can see that you're really mad that Vitali is nothin but a coward. LOL! I wonder what threads will you be participating in now that Vitali is gone. WAAAA WAAAA WAAA! LOL!

Toney and Goosen have shown they they have no problem working with King if they get paid.

With the marketability Toney brings, I wouldn't be suprized to see him get another crack at a title.

If King gets options to co promote Toney, it's not such a bad idea for him.
That was only supposed to be for Toney's next fight which was against Guinn. It was not a full time agreement between Goossen and king.

But there's nothing saying that because they worked together before, that they won't do it again.

It was benificial to all of them, and King has to realize Toney is a bigger draw than Ruiz or Byrd.

Again, I think there's a good chance we'll see further co promotions between them.

        It makes sense financially.

Sanders was fat, inactive and old. He had no business being ranked at #1.

He had 2 fights in 3 years before he blitzed Wlad in 90 seconds, and somehow that shot him to #1.

That was a WEAK fight for Vitali, and he WAS essentailly handed a title.

You can't blame Rahman for this in any way.

He WAS ready to fight for that title FOUR times.

Yes it was handed to him, yes he sucks, but what else could he have done?
He couldn't do anything else, you are right. Same thing with Vitali though, what else could he do but to fight Sanders if that was the only way for him to get the title. Remember, he was calling out Lewis for the longest time and Lewis didn't want to fight him. But all these posts "We have a new champion", blah, blah, blah, make it sound like Rahman earned the belt and he is much better than VK.

As you just pointed out, his situation isn't that unsimilar to Vitalis', and there's nothing else he could have done. He was ready to fight FOUR times.

I suppose the best think you can say about Rahman is that he is persistant.
