There will never be a unification tourny.

King now has all 4 titles an will keep it that way. He makes more money by having the four of them fight in "HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP" bouts than he would if he had the one guy with all 4 titles.

Also, we all know that even if the titles get unified the CHAMP will get stripped by some organization for not fighting a manditory and it will start all over again.

this is good news but i woulndt expect a match for wlad and a title holder anytime soon. don king finally has all 4 titles, he is not going to take a chance on wlad.

we might finally have an undisputed champ by the end of next year, i hope its brewster but i could see byrd or rahman on top...

there is NO WAY IN HELL the HW divsion's status could sink any lower...
Bow down to Hasim Rahman, TWO TIME Heavyweight Champion of the World. Don't forget, Vitali fans, this is the LINEAR title too. The one Lewis lost. That makes Rahman the legit champ according to you *******s. I love it.

              LOL,

SO MUCH anger from you Nut Huggers.

              Take a deep breath.

              It's going to be okay.

I don't need to hear your non sense about Vitali and how he was the only one who dominated. He dominated CORRIE SANDERS and DANNY WILLIAMS over a TWO YEAR span, and now was about to be out another year.

              COME OFF IT.

He was fighting piss poor opposition, and at a snails pace.

He had no intention of unifying, and if he wasn't inactive, would have been fighting the Oleg Maskievs of the world.

All your bitching and huffing and puffing isn't going to change anything. He's retired having accomplished little to nothing,

and the Heavyweight division will feature unification fights in 2006.

Again, this is the best thing that could have happened under the circumstances.

Now we're a step closer to having a REAL unified Champion.

Ruiz fought better opposition than Vitali, and Byrd was also inacitve, but he's been trying to break away from King.

Either way, you seem to think that by pointing out how weak some of the other fighters are, that somehow makes it better that Vitali had two fights against two fringe contenders in two years and was about to be out for another year.

He wasn't fighting at all, when he was it was against poor opposition, and now that he's elected to allow things to move along without wasting anyone's time,

we're going to see unification fights next year. That's what needed to happen, and now it is.
