In response to the thread saying Rahman rans VK into retirement

to say that rahman could run any one into retirement is sheer ******ity. You see the difference between the there retirements are quite obvious. VK retired due to injuries. Yes, he didnt defend his title like he should have, but to say that his situation is the same is wrong. Lewis retired AFTER fighting vitali and he became to frightend to defend his title against him. And if i remember correctly, Lewis sighted no injuries in his reason for retiring, as a matter of fact he said he was in the best shape of his life. He said that Vitali wasnt good enough, and that there was no one left for him. Which simply wasnt true. He could have defended agaisnt Vitali, or he could have fought rahman for a third time, hell why not James toney.

Lewis went out like a *****, what kinda of person goes out with unfinished business left on the table, and was not forced out due to injury. Lewis himself said he COULD defend his title against Vitali, he just didnt want to.

And for those that feel that vitali is BSing about his injury, why dont you read the medical report. or you could wait to see the scars. either way, i dont care. But quit acting like this was a planned, because the last time i checked, not many people are willing to have there legaments ripped in half just to avoid a fight.

After saying all this, i myself feel that VK didnt represent the title well. There were many opportunities for him to prove himself to the fans, but in the end, maybe he wasnt worried about proving himself to the fans, maybe he just needed to prove to himself that he could become champion. Not everyone is so concerned with there image as many people are
    .

    Lewis didn't go out like a *****...

he went out still on top knowing that his time is done...why fight if you're injured? Vitali is made the right choice...

same with Lewis...why fight when you're out of shape and are not dedicated to the sport anymore? Lewis made the right choice...

i agree about vitali going out because of injury, but like i said, lewis said he was in the best shape of his career when he retired, he specifically said that conditioning wasnt an issue.

Man, you are wasting your time. Haters don't listen to a reason. It's useless to try to prove anything to them.

You can say whatever you want about Vitali, but your talk about Lewis is utter non sense.

He was 37 when he fought Vitali, and had ben considering retiring since after beating Tyson.

He clearly beat Vitali in a fight he obviosuly took lightly:

and found himself at 38 years old in one of the weakest points in the history of the heavyweight division, so he retired as undisputed champion having beaten evey man he ever faced.

He had every right to walk away when he did.

Vitali also has every right to walk away right now, but he does so with leaving little to nothing behind as a legacy.

I agree, but again, anyone who says Rahman ran Vitali into retirment is a moron...I just cant take anyone who says that seriously from this point on.

Rahman...he would KOd just like in the Lennox fight.

...If it's inteligent debate it's one thing, but when your talking to ******ed children it's not even fun. It's like trying to debate the grass being green. The haters who claim that are either idiots or are just plain morons to think that anyone believes that ****. They are the same guys that call the Klitscko's **** and think everyone who likes them is a card carrying member of the KKK.

i agree with what you say about his legacy, but im not the one that said lewis was in great shape at 38, he did, that statement came from his own mouth. So if you take what he said seriously, then he COULD have defended his title, he just didnt WANT to.
