It has more to do with the fact that Cotto feels he gave up a lot to make the first fight. He was undefeated and the bigger draw in 08 but didn't get the money he felt he deserved and didn't get the fight in MSG. Add to that the fact that he lost and how Arum and Top Rank stood by Cheato even though its obvious he tried to cheat in the Mosley fight and most likely in more fights before that. Cotto had leverage this time and just how he should have.

No you don't get it. He didn't want revenge, he didn't want Margy to make a dime off of him. Cotto didn't say "Go get me a Margarito rematch but you better pay me what I deserve", he said "Hell no I don't wanna give him a payday" but uncle Bob threw more money at him and Cotto gave in.
