Who would have won? I think Broner would have brutally KO'd Ricky Burns and thats the real reason Burns ducked him.

Believe me i know people who are close with Ricky and he knows no fear as far as boxing goes. He's as honest and genuine as they come in this crooked sport, i know he was gutted about having to move up before facing Broner and felt seriously stung by the notion it was a duck - he really had to be talked into moving up and it was the right move he was KILLING himself at the end there to make weight, not healthy. By facing a Big ****ing Gladiator in Katsidis who was favoured to hammer him in his first fight at the weight i think he deserves the benifit of the doubt...

Well that sucks if it is the truth, I think Broner would have beaten him if he could make the weight comfortably. I think Broner is a better boxer but it would have been a fun match up to see. Now, I'll believe this if Burns fights someone good at his weight class soon. Who's a good fighter at his weight class? I can't think of what weight class he moved up to?

To be fair i havent seen enough of Broner to give an educated assessment

He's up at Lightweight now with guys like Marquez, Rios, Murray, Mitchell and De Marco ect...

I think him and Kevin Mitchell could be on the cards soon, just a gut feeling

He should prove himself by fighting Rios very soon, but the thing is this all looks shady to me. Isn't Rios moving to 140 soon? The weight class of 135 is like dead now if Rios moves up so its basically Burns weight class to own if its true about Rios moving up soon. This just feels like Frank Warrens doing, something doesn't seem right...

And you mentioned Marquez's name but I have a feeling Marquez is done at 135 and possibly will retire unless he gets another Pacquiao fight(money fight).

The only people I was really impressed by at 135 is Marquez and Rios...

I would like to see Burns/Soto match up but I'm unsure if Soto fights at 135 anymore.

There is no ducking or tactical weight class jumping here i can assure u but thats a fair point it is gonna be a touch thin if JMM, Rios and Soto move on...

I pray for a Marquez vs Burns fight in Glasgow! (Marquez is my Boy!) but it wont happen.......

All i can tell u is Ricky did NEED to move up and genuinely wants the best, he isnt a nervous fighter and isnt afraid to lose

Burns will have to move up one more weight class *again) to 140 if he wants to beat fighters with names if Soto, Rios, Marquez won't be at 135 anymore. 135 is becoming a dead division in my opinion.

I don't like that match-up for Ricky tbh.

Kevin Mitchell has had one off night which was down to a number of things, but otherwise he's a fighter I rate hugely. Really, really top fighter for me.

Well thats boxing if Kevin Mitchell is destined to beat Ricky Burns then it will happen. I think Mitchell is a good fighter too. Also, I hate how the refs step in boxing way too early. This is suppose to be a combat sport, we get they're trying to help the health out of a boxer but now adays we rarely see brutal KO wins because the refs step in right away.

I'm liking the fact that Broner is showing his one punch KO power, because other wise we'd see refs jumping in when a boxer still seems to have life left in them.
