Maidana has been calling out Morales for the longest. Recently he even blasted him on twitter. I respect Morales and all, but lately I don't know what's wrong with him. He offered Maidana the fight on 1 week notice and 1 week after Maidana already signed the contract to fight the Russian. Morales is going crazy thinking he sells tickets or something. They offered him Amir Khan as the last fight for Khan at 140 and he said no he won't be ready until mid next year. Something is wrong with this guy, thinks way too highly of himself.......like I said I respect what he has done.......but what is he doing? Not much. Maidana won fair and square. Not a blow out but a close win. Close does NOT equal controversial.

I take it Maidana won't accept wearing Morales pillow gloves...

Morales can talk saying Maidana only wants the fight when it's beneficial for him.

Morales declined the rematch to go for the fake 140 WBC belt Sulaiman promised him, and then only made noise for a rematch when his opponent pulled out and Maidana already had a fight only two weeks away in Argentina.

When Maidana offered him a proper alternative for rematch in December or early next year, Morales went quiet and started talking about he didn't want to fight again that soon, but then changed his story to wanting to fight for a lightweight belt.

Morales was a warrior, but he was also an arrogant prick and a bit of a *****, eg. insisting opponents wear his Winning gloves, quiting the 3rd Pacquiao fight because he was sooking about the weight, lowballing Marquez.

First 5 rounds!!? How can you say to someone that they don't know how to score a fight and then completely exaggerate the truth?? I am not saying Maidana didn't win, tbh I wouldnt argue with people who had it either way, but what I do know is Morales absolutely schooled Maidana in the 2nd half of the fight, he figured him out and not only out-boxed him, but out-fought him. If I was Maidana I certainly wouldnt take this fight.

Anyway Morales is only saying what i have been saying for a year, Maidana measures risk vs reward, he is not this fearless warrior that some of you idiots claim he is. Get REAL!

This is what I am taking about in regards to Morales on this forum, posters are always getting overly nostalgic about him and crediting him for things he didn't do. He had a couple good spots in the middle rounds thats it. Conclusive victory for Maidana who should not have been fighting a shot FW anyway.

Maidana is ****in bum he could not convincingly beat a shot and out of shape Morales. What makes is worts Morales fought with one eye, Maidana is a joke.
