Lot of hate being spewed, on both sides, in this thread. I've followed Wilder for years now and can understand why he's fighting soft competition - he didn't have an extensive amateur career and he's still learning the science. However, he does need to step it up soon because he's only gonna learn so much from KO'ng a bum of the month.

Green k to the TS for posting the vid...

Funny.. since they've fought 104 times... that means you admit at least a half dozen weren't.... give this clown a medal... them fighting almost 100 cans is still not equal to Wilder fighting 100% tomatoe cans.. 7 more Ko's in a row & he equals Klitschko's long standing debut but the fact that he himself nearly got ktfo kills that noise..

By the time Wilder hits his peak Wlad loses to him because he will be way passed his best years. Oh well it will solidfy an American HW superstar.

Whoaa someone busted out the calculator. Dude I'm siding with your God. I'm saying whether the Klitchkos fought 90 cans 100 cans or 104 cans, like you pointed out, their can-whooping experience is greater then Wilders. The can crushing Klitschkos > Wilder!

Wait nevermind they have lost to cans too...Well that just kills the noise. Wilder > Klitschko

Skills protect the chin! If he masters boxing, then hitting the chin will become a true task for opponants. Roy Jones, Lennox Lewis,Zab judah,Felix Trinadad and many many more glass jaw boxers made very good dominate champions. Skills pay the bills. Instead of making a name Wilder has been sharpening his tools. Working on things like angles, relaxing, countering with speed and accuracy, conditioning,Mastering the jab, distance, foot work. He has Mark breland helping him and base on where he started and where hes at now. Thier doing a great job. When he steps it up his skill level will shine through against those slow come forward, big leg, fat body, punching bags. It will be target practice for the skill boxer wilder. Just keep watching young bucks!!

Wilder is garbage. He will never amount to anything. He only fights bums, 20 fights, 20 tomato cans. He recently got knocked down, badly hurt and almost KO'd by ceritified tomato can Harold Sconiers (17-24)

Here's a video of the glass chinned Wilder getting KTFO by Russian Cruiserweight Evgeny Romanov...KO is at 1:50

The Russians dominated the Americans in every weight class in the tournament.

lol wilder is a glass chinned bum

Anybody who saw Deontay win bronze or his first pro fights knew he was five years away and given his young age and that his calling cards won't go away soon (range and power) they should be taking the long road.

These fights aren't even important, it is the time in the gym and dedication to the sport that is important, the fights at this point are just goals to break up the gym work and see how the training is paying off.

Watching that fight there is certainly progress but how much who knows, I still don't need or expect him to do anything of note in the next two years. I see no reason to rush him.

Who knows he might never amount to anything though, prospects in boxing have a very high wash out rate~

This thread was interesting to me until I saw it become another America vs. Europe thread. I just want to see new and talented boxers in the heavyweight division, no matter where they are from.
