I really wish there were more guys in Boxing like Vic Darchinyan ....

This guy, if anyone, deserves bigger paydays. He's willing to take on anyone to prove he's a badazz, no smoke & mirrors with Vic ... he's the real deal.

I get the weird feeling he's overlooking Moreno, almost every interview of his he's either talking about Mares or Donaire.

He does seem to do that a lot ... I believe its a form of intimidation, because I have yet to see him in the ring looking rusty, wild yes, KO eager -- yes, but rarely rusty. So, I think its just his mentality when he goes into a fight i.e. "I'm knocking this fool out, who's next?"

This is why Vic is my favorite fighter.....we will fight anyone...no b.s. no ducking etc.

I mean he got demolished by Donaire, but I bet if it were possible for him to fight him the next day, Vic would do it.

How many fighters have that much confidence and the balls to go after anyone regardless of the style etc?

Vic straight ducked a Donaire rematch last year. One of the few ducks that is universally understood throughout the boxing world in recent years.

I certainly didn't expect him to do what he did against Perez, he's been fighting with a different fire...that was also telling in the Mares fight where he did better than I expected.

Here is more if people are interested,

Um, no. Vic went on to rampage the next division up and waited on Donaire to fight him. Donaire instead left Gary Shaw and fought outgunned fighters for years. It was universally understood that until he fought Montiel that period after Darchinyan was a gigantic waste of time and talent. Gary Shaw may not have been eager due to his bitterness with grudges but Darchinyan straight up called out Donaire constantly.
