Devon Alexander needs a new trainer. I hate Kevin Cunningham

I think he would do better under Manny Steward. Make his jab a lot more effective and teach him how to apply more power to his shots.

If Devon takes this fight I have to give him some credit.
He pretty much lost to Kotelnyk, then did lose his title to Bradley and straight afterwards goes into Matthysse and again pretty much lost and now straight into Maidana.
Most people would take a soft option around now. Roll on 2012

Yeah that would do him wonders. Devon has all the tools and the toughness to be a top fighter in the world. I just dont think Cunningham is bringing out the best in him.

I think moving up in weight will help Devon he'll be bigger and stronger at 147 he has decent power he just need to sit down on his punches more throwing them with full power Devon has all the tools to beat Maidana

Honestly I'm wondering why he's moving up unless he can't make JWW anymore.

I think it's the smartest move for him,the future is 147lb everyone will be up there in a yrs time...Bradley Khan Maidana Peterson and maybe even Matt's(even tho he would be smart to stay at 140lb and get his hands on Garcia Alvarado Rios or Guerrero)..But if he wants the bigger fights 147lb is the place he needs to be...

we saw how quick he cracked with a lil bit of pressure against Bradley...and although he might box the **** out of Maidana for a few rounds, i see him wilting under Maidana's pressure

Don't forget Bradley applies smart pressure and has much faster feet and coordination then Maidana...It's going to be a hard fight for both,but I would not be surprised if Alexander comes out on top in this fight..
