TS is talking about that right hook by Ortiz that sent Floyd into the corner, right before the headbutt.

I don't think the punch rattled him, I think it looked that way because he was back-pedaling toward the corner and pulling his shoulders back to roll punches as he was doing it.

I'd have to look at it again.. but I could have sworn that punch hit him in the shoulder, or at the very least didn't catch him square on the chin. I could be wrong about that, though

i wouldnt say his chin got worse, its just never been all that good - which is probably a huge factor in why most of his fights are defensive minded....

now as far as floyd vs pac.....jmm went 24 rounds with pac, so it was no surprise to see the third fight b/w them so close. no matter how good floyd is, he hasnt had one round of experience with pacquiao, so i see pac knocking him out if they ever fight......

Floyd wasnt hurt...but he went to the ropes...right before Ortiz headbutted him.

Someone here has a gif of it. It was a weird shot that landed right on Floyd's chin and Floyd immediately stumbled back to the ropes

prolly off balance lol, i think ive seen corely buzz him, and shane and thats about it with that said it appears he takes punches well and if hes stunned he comes back within a few seconds.

Do you think Mayweather's ability to take punches is declining? Besides the Shane fight...Ortiz hit him with a punch that seem to rattle him a little bit

ortiz didn't rattle anything.. and pacroid is the same fighter h has always been.. a bum who was well matched with people who fit his ametuer style.

From what I have seen of floyd (although its very little) he has a decent chin. Not glass but not iron either.

ortiz defiantly rattled mayweather with a shot in the 4th round but mayweather tried to fake the funk by shaking his head like it didnt hurt but unbiased fans like me saw right threw his facade !!!!!!! mayweathers new agressive style will get him knocked out like debo !!!!!!!!

Ortiz never rattled Floyd. Floyd began moving backward and was off balance for a split second. Ortiz took advantage and threw a right hook which glanced Floyd's shoulder and face. I'd say Floyd has an above average chin. When he does get hit on the temple, he does get stunned though (Corley, Mosley, Augustus/Burton).

Anyone who thinks that punch from Ortiz didn't rattle floyd doesn't know **** about boxing.

He sent floyd flying towards the rope and floyd was out on his feet not throwing any shots back and his head was leaning back OVER the top rope (which is against the rules but Cortez don't give a ****)

If Ortiz had better accuracy he would've knocked him the **** out and you already know who has the best accuracy+speed+power in the sport

His chin is good enough for when he gets tagged, he is able to handle it and adjust. Not David Izon or Chuvalo but he can take a good crack. Mosley hit him with everything he had and it only buckled him for a split second.

Not hating on Floyd or anything but im pretty sure Moseley had him buzzed for more than a split second, just sayin
