Lol, I have to admit, that it will be hilarious if GBP is cut out of the most lucrative fight in history.
That Arum really is a scumbag. As much as I would love Pacquiao to knock out Floyd, the only good think about Pac losing would be Arums reign will finally be over.
Although, GB is only a little better about making good fights.
I blinked twice when I saw the score. Cong**** to your squad. Crazy game last night but as a Giants fan I'm sick to my stomach.
Iv'e only just started getting into NFL, and watched the game last night (it was Tuesday night here) and as far as i can tell NY has zero/minimal problems with it's offense, but that defense needs some work, or a cleanout and some new faces. Do you think this is accurate??
Bob arum came out himself and said theres no reason to talk to floyd because he wants to do the marquez rematch but somehow were supposed to believe this.....thats so not winning- charlie sheen voice
Well this think\g came along afterwards, perhaps a response to MannyP's lawyers appearing in court to pursue their suit against Maywather,
Meet edgar. Ex-amateur boxer. Part-time lawyer. Part-time psychiatrist. Part-time judge. Part-time accountant. Full-time loser. Don't believe me? Check his post history. Amazing what he's done during his 13 years of existence on Earth.
Ah the poor little man, have I hurt your feelings again....an easy thing to do seemingly. What's it about this time?? As if I care, you are too Dazed to ever understand how to discuss and debate. Just for the benefit of the less ignorant, what he says is exceedingly slanted adversely. Some are actually true, although he was jeering, and the others outright lies, which is what I'd expect from him, particularly the "psychiatrist", "accountant" "13", and as for "loser", that's too feeble to even bother answering. He forgot to mention that I was only an amateur boxing judge, it was my Master, long dead, who became a Court Judge. When in practice he was the most famous criminal lawyer in the country. Some of his former apprentices also became judges, one died at an advanced age only last week, at least 2 ended up in Government etc. A completely different world to which you are used, and which you wouldn't understand.
Dopey one, are you losing your (snake)"bite"?? You usually are far more obscene, foul mouthed, coarse and vulgar than this feeble little effort. I just owe you the courtesy of a reply...this once, but don't intend to descend to a back-alley scramble that you love. I don't think you come on this site for boxing at all, but to look for trouble.

I stopped reading right there, when I realized you still had a couple more chapters to go . Here write me another letter.

Well that was accurate last night. And for the most part, the offense is solid, thanks to Eli. Running game has up and down this year--it was a staple of our offense in the past. Defense...too much talent to be playing like this. Just mind boggling.
The fight was never on. floyd said "I have May 5 open"--that does not equal an agreement to fight. Floyd says "I'll sign the contract now." What contract? They have to agree to all the terms first. And, if they want $50 million guaranteed apiece, no promoter is going to sign off on the contract because, if it comes up short, they are on the hook for the shortage. They need people with cash to step up and guarantee the purses as part of a larger package. Those things take time. Simply put, your naive call to "sign the contract" makes no sense.
That leaves you where you are now. How many emails from you on this topic do we have to read? Every time I go to a new comments page, you have 4 or 5 comments. Enough. I've read your position a thousand times already. Reading it over and over again is killing me.
When Mayweather announced that he had reserved the MGM for May 5th, he didn't even mention MannyP as an opponent. According to the press reports he merely said "I told them to get me the biggest fight out there". (slightly paraphrased). Then...we saw this "hot" new development that Mayweather is eager to fight Pacquiao.
I believe that this was a combination of MannyP's relatively poor Marquez performance and the fact (we saw it on BoxingScene as well), that MannyP's lawyers had just appeared in court to proceed with his defamation suit against Mayweather.
I assume that he will try to make it a condition of the fight that Pacquiao drops the suit. If I were he, I wouldn't, since he stands to get much more in damages from a successful verdict, and I'd bet that his lawyers, the best available, have a tight case with dozens of witnesses and a long list of actual and potential damage caused.
