if Bob is taking on the role of taking on the boxing logistics solely for this fight then what would be Golden Boy's role?

THAT to me is why they are beefing. GBP does not want to lose that role as it means revenue when they sorely need it and TR wants it because it could be very lucrative even without being the sole investor of this fight

to me this is the most likely scenario
Makes alot of sense. GBP KNOWS they are being pushed out.... So guess what? They arent even trying to get a Manny fight anymore since they arent going to be involved with that.

    Why i think this?

They are now pushing for Canelo to fight Floyd.... That is why.

This would make sense only if Arum wanted GBP out only. According to this article he doesn't want to negotiate with Haymon or Ellerbe either. Next he's going to ask Floyd to sign with Top Rank.

IMO I think they know for a Manny Floyd fight to go forward they will have to

          1. bow out as the boxing arm of this promotion and let TR run it which takes away any fee or cut they had on previous Mayweather fights
          2. go find investors of their own to counter what is going on. Previous investors were from Mayweather not GBP
          3. go find suitable alternatives for Mayweather (which is why we are now hearing Canelo's name and if Khan wins his name)

again IMO they seem stuck and at the mercy of Floyd if he chooses to listen to Bob's offer what can GBP do?

nah I read it more like he is willing to run the boxing portion only and let everyone do whatever is best for both sides and also I didn't see where Bob said he wouldn't deal with Al

I do know he has said that in the past BUT since he seems to now be onboard with TR being the boxing logistics of this he doesn't have to worry about who gets what because I assume his company will take a flat fee and maybe a cut of the PPV

                  ARE YOU NOT, ENTERTAINED?????

"Finally, Arum said he a fond regard for the whole Mayweather clan. Top Rank formerly promoted Floyd Jr., uncle Roger when he was a world champ and uncle Jeff when he was a pro boxer.

I consider mysdelf friendly with all the Mayweathers," Arum said. I handled Roger and Jeff also, I think they are all great guys."

He said he doesn't need need to or want to meet, sit down or negotiate with them. Take that as you will. I interpreted it as more bull**** on the way.

Speaking of bull****, HOW THE **** DID YOU BEAT ME? I went to bed comfortably ahead with Drew Brees styling on the Giants. WTF!
