During a Tuesday court hearing in Hartford, Connecticut, featherweight contender Matt Remillard (23-1), 25-years-old, received the maximum sentence of five years in prison for fracturing a man's skull with a baseball bat last year in what police say was a fight over a woman. He had pleaded no contest to first-degree assault in September. Remillard held the NABF and NABO featherweight titles until losing in March to Mikey Garcia in Atlantic City.

Sucks for you Matt, shouldn't have brought a bat in a fist fight...
Also, you need to find new friends... ones that won't roll on you.

Just because he lost a professional fight his life turned into this crap.

      Wow, he needs mental toughness.

I hope he finds it while doing his time.
