David Tua vs Calvin Brock

i couldnt see a thread about this fight so here it is.

i aint seen much of brock but he sounds like hes one of the top 20 so
its a good matchup for both the returning tua and the upcoming brock.

brock does have to beat David Bostice on 11-19-2005 first, but then its on

Yeah I have to agree that Tua hasn't looked like himself in a while. I would be rooting for him to KO Brock Ruiz style, but if I was betting, I'd take Brock.

I swore to myself that I would never again pick Tua to win a meaningful fight. He has disappointed me far too often.

Brock would outbox him to a decision win. Tua would, as usual, just stand around & wait to land the one big bomb.

tua has fought twice this year which for him is relativity active,
though brock has fought 3 times, id pick one if id seen more of brock

Tua is scared of something in the ring...the guy just wont let his hands go. (what good is an iron chin if you are not willing to use it)

If a guy like Tua would fight his ass off for three rounds and then quit he would probably be able to beat almost everyone in the division.

At this point he doesnt need some trainer with a ton of knowledge and technical expertise he needs a guy like Teddy Atlas who flat out say over and over... "David, you need to ****ing fight."

If I was in his corner in between rounds I would scream in his face, "fight you ****ing samona" "fight you ****ing samoan"

Over and over...with all that said any thread on Tua is a waiste...

i was just checking hasbeen rahmans record, and ended up on tua's
were i was surprised to see this fight pencilled in. still it wasnt
as much a shock as seeing danny williams vs audley harrison
